Dr. Lee is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with over 30 years of comprehensive experience and expertise.

He studied dentistry at the University of Michigan.  He practiced general dentistry and managed his own practice for several years. Then, he completed a four-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Montefiore Medical Center, Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx, NY, serving as chief resident for two years.

Upon graduation, Dr. Lee opened a private practice in Flushing, Queens, with strong commitment. As the neighborhood changed, he closed his Queens practice after twenty years to concentrate on his NJ office.

Dr. Lee focuses on dental implants, bone grafts and wisdom teeth removal under IV sedation. On an average week, Dr. Lee performs approximately 10 wisdom tooth extractions under general anesthesia, 7 implant-related surgical procedures, and around 40 dentoalveolar procedures under local anesthesia.  He became a Diplomate in American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Diplomate in National Board of Dental Anesthesiology.

He consistently seeks methods to refine surgical techniques that reduce postoperative pain, achieve optimal local anesthesia, combine medications effectively while minimizing their use for patient comfort during IV sedation, and ensure the long-term success of dental implants.

Dr. Lee is a former faculty member of the A. Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Lee actively attends lectures and seminars to keep abreast of new surgical advancements and to improve his surgical techniques. He has been honored by various organizations for his academic contributions and community services. Notably, he received the Attending of the Year Award by the Dental Dept, New York Hospital of Queens for two consecutive years.  Dr. Lee is married with three children.  In his spare time, he enjoys reading, listening to classical music, practices calligraphy, and studies “Go” strategy.
